An anonymised string (hash) generated from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. 3. Media uploads

If you are a registered user and upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors may download and extract location data from these files.
