As of 17 March 2025, we are officially part of the innovation and technology segment of the Kingdom of Spain’s economy. On Saint Patrick’s Day, we received official approval from ENISA (Empresa Nacional de Innovación, S.A.) — the key government agency overseen by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
The approved project
is the result of six months of intensive preparation. The core team: myself and Yury Tolmachev, IT entrepreneur and my co-founder.
ENISA’s approval grants:
- preferential tax treatment;
- three-year residence permit for the entire family;
- inclusion in the national registry of innovative companies;
- access to interest-free and non-repayable development loans.
In 2024, ENISA’s rejection rate stood at 59%. That’s why this news is far from a formality — it is a significant signal of trust from one of the country’s most important technology business support bodies.
And yes — the feeling is akin to defending a PhD thesis, except now it’s in legal Spanish, with documents and lots of coffee.
